Bumper Replacements electroplating division, Onehunga Electroplaters specialise in copper, nickel and chrome plating. Our Tanks are 3.6 meters long, which allows us to chrome plate brass boat mouldings without the need to have them cut. All brass boat fittings (cleats and anchor winches for example) are all stripped to base metal and polished to ensure a high quality, long lasting result.

Quality control measures ensure that each production run is up to our tradition of a quality standard.
These measures are:

• Full chemical analysis of each chemical bath once a month
• Daily analysis of certain conditioners of each bath
• Chemical analysis records are kept for three years
• Training of electroplaters in quality assurance procedures
• Full complete maintenance programme

   Bumper replacements assisted us with the refit in 2007 of our launch "Primetime",  chrome plating hand polishing and electropolishing. All of the fittings, cleats, rails, winch were all stripped to base metal and polished. The finish is immaculate and the boat looks amazing!
